Tiana Garner is a former trial attorney who grew up in Gwinnett County and the surrounding area. She attended Norcross High School. After graduating high school, Tiana Studied English at Georgia State University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. After completing her undergraduate studies, Tiana worked as a paralegal at a large law firm in downtown Atlanta.
Seeking a new challenge, she enrolled in law school and earned her juris doctorate degree from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. After law school, she returned to Gwinnett County to serve the same community where she grew up and started a solo practice. As a litigator, she focused her practice on criminal defense and personal injury. She was an attorney on Gwinnett County’s Indigent Defense List where she helped those less fortunate resolve their criminal matters. She also volunteered with Gwinnett Legal Aid accepting pro bono cases on a regular basis.
Tiana currently holds the position of Chief Deputy Clerk of Court. The Gwinnett County Clerk’s office is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Superior, State and Magistrate Courts.
Tiana is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and admitted to practice in all trial level courts in the State of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
Tiana resides in Gwinnett County with her husband and two daughters.
